Pinson of Hale Center Dies After 24 Years in Drug Trade
James Roger Pinson 47 longtime Hale Center druggist died of heart disease in Plainview. A Galveston pharmacy graduate, he served in World War I, then ran a Hale Center drug store 21 years and was active in local affairs. Funeral at Hale Center Baptist Church drew over 2,000 mourners with many out of town attendees. Burial in Hale Center Cemetery.
