Week of social visits across local towns noted

Hazel Dell Miss Grace Evelyn Westmore land and Betty Jean Young spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hughes. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Huckabee of Dublin and Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Westfall and children of Lamkin spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Westfall and family. Miss Orewe Tatum and Willa Dean Johnson of Lamkin spent Sunday with Tene and Netta Jean Bryson. Misses Lula Mae Alexander and Louise Durham who are attending Gustine school spent the week end with their parents here. Mrs. C. L. Hillhouse spent last week with her son, Bunt Hillhouse and family. Mrs. W. E. Westfall and daughter Daphna spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. W. Westmoreland at Wilson. J. H. Young, who is working at Gustine, visited his family over the week end. Singing was well attended here Sunday night. T. O. Westmoreland and H. D. Westmoreland of Wilson, Jessie Westmoreland of Edna Hill and Ed Miller and David Holcomb of Lamkin made a hunting trip to Antelope over the week end.
