Hubert Kay Proctor visited home folks in Ranger on Wednesday night. The Lane family and Clements relatives from Wingate and local residents shared a Sunday meal with Mrs. Tom Lane. Rev. Lem Daniels preached at the Bang Baptist Church Sunday morning. The Guyger and Daniels families joined Mrs. C C Guyger and Mrs. Bud McClatchy for a large Sunday dinner. A school auditorium picture show drew a good Friday night crowd and will continue weekly. Alton McKammey visited his mother Mrs. Lane this weekend. Mrs. Robert Barry visited her mother in Comanche for a few days. J P Johnston and sister Mrs. Ernest Barry toured to Dublin last Friday. Lettie Rackley began a new school term at Buffalo. Alice Sloane spent the weekend at her Comanche home. The P T A sold cats in town Saturday for school funds.

Energy’s 4-H club elected officers on October 29 with Claud McPherson as President and Welbourn Baskin as Vice President. Lena Boydston became Secretary and Reporter, Eva Mae Tully Yell Leader, with Guss Rudd and Mrs Allison as adult leaders. Community Club Ladies met, quilting was done, and a Halloween Carnival raised 29.05 for school ground equipment. Mr and Mrs Elbert Adams visited S J Isham family Sunday.
