Tuesday November 1 marked the largest turkey opening day in Comanche history with buyers reporting about 29 300 pounds marketed that day. Dressings and shipping plants were busiest since the season began and expect to stay crowded as raisers compare turkey profits to cotton income. Auditors found three accounts with a total discrepancy of 1038.31 in favor of the county. The report notes overpayment of 365.00 to Hanover National Bank and 461.00 due from depositories. bonded indebtedness totals 407,392.00.
