Mrs. C. C. Klingman Dies At Home In Comanche
Mrs. C. C. Klingman died at the family home in Comanche on Monday afternoon May 25 after a two and a half year illness. Funeral services were held in Dallas at Ed C. Smith Chapel with Dr. Graham Frank and Revs. L. N. D. Wells and W. W. Phares in charge. Interment followed at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas. Survivors include Dr. C. C. Klingman and two sons, Charles of Dallas and Robert of Harlan Kentucky, plus two brothers Fred and Robert Zohn of Louisville. Marie Zohn Klingman born May 3 1881 in Louisville accompanied by relatives H. Tupin Armstrong Cox and Miss Inez Sullivan attended the services. The Klingmans lived in Comanche two years after earlier years here when he led the Central Christian Church and taught at Comanche High School.

R B Newman Dies in Plainview at 76
R B Newman 76 longtime Comanche businessman and brother in law of O O Brightman died suddenly at his Plainview home from a heart attack. Funeral services were held at Comanche Funeral Home with Rev A Bryson English officiating and burial in Oakwood Cemetery. He was born August 17 1866 in Rusk Texas and moved to Comanche at 18. He married Sallie Brightman in 1905 and is survived by five sons Gene Yearwood Lyman Joe in Plainview and Robert Jr in Amarillo plus a daughter Mary who died in 1915.
