Helpful Workers Club Holds Meeting and Shower
The Helpful Workers Club met April 30 at Mrs. Ed Duke’s home with 17 members. Four quilts were completed and a noon covered dish dinner was served. Coleman visitors Mr. and Mrs. Donald Moneyham and Mr. and Mrs. Brady Hughes and two children attended. Mrs. Hughes received a home shower with many gifts. The Union Helpful Workers Club plans to meet May 14 with Mrs. Willie Edwards. Lon L. Smith and son Lon Jr. visited Comanche with his mother Mrs. Mary L. Smith. Mrs. Lucy Kirk traveled to San Antonio for an indefinite visit with her daughter Mrs. Holman, accompanied by her grandson Burks Holman.
