Mt Pleasant Homecoming Honors Mt Isham at Church Service
Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church marked homecoming with Rev. S J Isham delivering the sermon “Upon this Rock I will build my Church.” Isham, a former pastor for 23 years, recalled early church hardships and noted the 1895 Bible and old records displayed. The Antique Quartette led singing as many descendants and former members attended, with visitors from Fort Worth Arlington Coleman Brownwood Dallas and others.
