Public notice commands the sheriff to publish weekly summons for four weeks targeting Belle Downs and numerous defendants in a partition suit No. 8380 filed March 16 1939 before the District Court in Comanche County Texas. The case seeks partition of about 1891 acres across multiple surveys and counties with costs adjudicated.
The State of Texas to John W. Wallace unknown residence. Citation issued for the District Court of Comanche County to appear at the next term on April 17 1939 to answer a petition filed September 29 1938 in case 6348 by Deward Burk seeking title and possession of 1795 acres near Spring and Comanche Texas. Plaintiff claims unlawful entry and damages totaling 2000 with rent value 250 annually. Writ of restitution and costs sought along with other relief.

The bride is daughter of Mr and Mrs O Kemp. Groom is son Worth Lee of Pottsville. Rev Greebon to fill appointment at Methodist Church Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

Willie Carruth family attended a missionary meeting in Rising Star. Sid Bruton and Leland Nabors toured San Antonio. Dennis McLaughlin and Cox families visited Carbon relatives. Mrs Cox stayed several days. Wanita Hood visited Lou Farrow. Betty Lou Daniels hosted Sunday School classmates. Emma Norton is seriously ill.
