Sidney Home Demonstration Club held its February 15 gathering in the Homemaking Cottage at Sidney High School with Mrs. Cecil Clark as hostess. Officers present were Mrs. Hargrave Bryant Hassel and secretary Mrs. Pat Denny. Members discussed Valentine remembrances, HD club events, and District and Home Demonstration Week plans. A March 7 session with Eula Newman on Family Economic work will feature a skit by club members and guests in the Sidney Home Making Cottage.
William C. Ferrill Jr. son of Mrs. Mary Ferrill of Comanche is employed as Civilian Personnel Officer at Altus Air Force Base Oklahoma. He resides with his wife Melba Casheer of Goldthwaite and two children in Altus and owns a 316 acre Comanche County farm.
The subject, a 1933 start to his Civil Service career, served as Civilian Personnel Officer at Pyote AFB before joining Altus AFB in 1953. He previously attended Sidney High School and Tarleton State College and is a Mason. His son William C HI attends Southern Methodist University and daughter Sandra Lee is a fourth grade student in Altus. He values photography among hobbies.
