Man Arrested Here Charged With Theft Of Wool And Hog
C. L. Whitely was arrested Friday by Sheriff Wid Spivey of Comanche and Texas Ranger Dan Westbrook of Company E San Angelo. Whitely faces charges for stealing two hundred pounds of wool and a hog from Dick Alexander of the Brysonville community, reported about two months ago. He is held in the Comanche jail.

Edna Hill Community Mourns Death Of J. J. Capell
J. J. Capell, 75, died in a house fire at his Edna Hill home around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. The blaze destroyed the residence and, despite attempts to rescue him, he perished from smoke in the burning structure. Capell had lived in Edna Hill over thirty years and was a longtime Methodist. He was the father of Mrs. Lloyd Coker of Indian Creek.
