The event features professional riders and performers competing July 3 and 4 in Calf Tie Down Bronc Riding Steer Riding and more. Rules deny accidents liability prohibit audience entry during events and require identification numbers. Entries close July 3 at 1:00 pm with 40 30 20 10 purse split and admissions 75 cents adults 40 cents children and soldiers.

Huge 100 Barrels Oil Flow From Bellamy Farm Well Near Custer
A 2673 foot well on the Mrs HK Bellamy farm two miles west of Custer yields 70 to 120 barrels per day of high quality oil. Drilling by Akins Drilling Co of Iowa used the Green rig from Stamford and spudded in May 12. Tanks are in place and storage ready as the site sits near the old Ninevah School House. George Allen Terrill et al are listed for Army physicals at 4:55 p.m. June 29.
