Bass Club Notes Lake Proctor May Meeting and Open Tournament
The Lake Proctor Bass Club met at the fire station May 28 with 15 members and 1 junior present. A board report discussed the Open Tournament set for October 5-6 and advance publicity and prizes. May 26 results on Lake Proctor show Ted Deisher winning 10 lbs 9 oz, Brenda Marshall 6 lbs 15 oz, Bob Evans 6 lbs 13 oz. 17 fishermen finished. largest catch was 6 lbs 8 oz by Deisher. Ted Deisher also holds the big bass trophy at 6 lb 8 oz. Brenda Marshall holds the ladies trophy at 4 lb 9 oz. Members note Stephenville and local clubs plan open tournaments June 23. many will fish both events. Joe Gore, Jerry Vines, and Jack Riley family members returned from Las Vegas trip.

Fox and Coon Hunters Meet Planned in Dublin
The Erath County Fox and Coon Hunters Association schedules its annual meeting at Fair Park Dublin on June 8. Dog events begin at 10 00 a m a barbecue lunch at noon followed by beach show activities. All hound men and spectators invited with trophies to be awarded.
