Early Days of Wooley and Local Dances Recalled
An elderly reminiscence recalls Wooley's early days as a dancer in Stephenville. The writer reflects on courthouse gatherings at Lake Eanes, four pretty sisters in a Mason household, and a noted dancer who became Mrs. Stonewall. He notes changing attitudes toward dancing, the role of churches, and lasting memories of local men like T. O.anne Noabera, Hogan, Beeman, and the Chilton brothers.
