Kaye Carpenter Crowned Comanche County Peanut Princess
Kaye Carpenter 18 daughter of Mr and Mrs James Carpenter was named Comanche County Peanut Princess at the third annual pageant held Saturday night July 10 before about 300. First runnerup was Vickie Scott and second runnerup Malinda Wall. Carpenter will represent the county in the Texas Peanut Queen pageant at the Majestic Theater in Eastland. Gold Kist Peanut Company hosted lunch at PAR with Jaycees and Gold Kist staging the judges and emcee dinner.

County Fair Booth Space On Sale At Affordable Rates
Comanche County Fair Association will offer 8 by 8 booths at 16 dollars and 8 by 10 booths at 18 dollars. Individuals, businesses, or organizations may buy multiple spaces to display.
