Man’s farm gathers crowds after claimed healing in 1953
In fall 1953 a man sitting by a creek claimed his aches disappeared on the Reese farm and crowds flocked to witness a supposed healing. Attendance rose to 400–600 daily, with money collected and space rented for trailers as Reese spoke of “God’s work” and plans for a boys ranch, later earning about $100,000 before visitors dwindled.
