Baptist Study Proposals For Hospitals In Texas
A hospital study committee urges the Baptist General Convention of Texas to permit its nine facilities to receive federal grants and low interest loans to cover gaps in federal payments. It also suggests adding non Baptists to boards to broaden support. The plan needs approval by the BGCT executive board on Sept 10 and by the Houston annual session. Move set to Mesquite Oct 26 28.
