Eugene Goering, 18, Platte Center, spent June 9 to Aug 1 in Uddevall Sweden as part of the Work Experience Abroad program by the Future Farmers of America. He lived with a host family on an 8 acre hog and barley farm learning Swedish farming practices, cooperative pricing, and self sufficiency while noting modern and antiquated machinery and unique local footwear.
