Warning plan urged on exploding whisky barrels risk

Highway Commission backs penny gas tax rise in Nebraska

Library Receives 10000 Dollar Gift From Brugger and Beal
The Columbus Library will use the 10 000 dollar donation from Mrs Daniel Beal and Florence Brugger to furnish the children's room after its move to the west NPPD Building. Brugger long served on the library board starting in 1900 and stayed 44 years until 1944, later given honorary life membership. The donors honored their father Melchior Brugger who amassed 8000 books later contributing many to Doane and Dana College libraries.
