December plans made for Albion veterans event
The Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary met at the Albion Vets Club Tuesday at 6 pm led by Commander Janice Kailvelage with Chaplain Doris Majerus absent. A State Executive Committee session is set for Sunday in Broken Bow. The VAVS Christmas party is December 21 at Grand Island Veterans Hospital with Chapter 16 aiding gifts distribution. A December 20 dinner at 6 pm asks members to bring two covered dishes and gifts for male or female veterans. bingo to follow. Lunch was served by Janice Kalvelage and Lars Coz.
