Albion Banker Roger Blatter Receives Bank Service Award
Albion banker Roger Blatter, with a 68 year banking career, received the Bank Service Award from Hast Central Nebraska Chapter of the Bank Administration Institute. A WWI veteran, Blatter began as a clerk in 1919 at Albion National Bank, rose to cashier, led as president 1968–76, and chairs the board while remaining active on the loan committee. He is a Mason and Methodist, with one daughter, two grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He donates books to Doane College Library and Albion City Library.
