One hundred twenty McPhillips families gathered at Pawnee Park in Columbus for a Sunday reunion and picnic. A carryde dinner was shared, and attendees spent the afternoon reminiscing. Albion girls to work eight weeks at Beatrice State Hospital

Albion High School girls Jennifer Jwan Sheila Stevenson Marcia Landen and aunt Ellen Larson, selected by the Youth Service Corps of the American Lutheran Church, will join four peers from Missouri Colorado and Nebraska to live on Beatrice State Hospital grounds for eight weeks. They will train with specialists and assist in teaching mentally retarded children, presenting to groups on weekends. The program, part of the American Lutheran Church Youth outreach, welcomes any interested youth.
