Choir director follows family path at St. Francis Church
Geroge Schaecher succeeded his father as choir director at St. Francis Church for 21 years and sang in the church men’s choir for 53. A Lindsay area native, he spent life in central Nebraska, worked 27 years for Consumers Public Power District, retiring. He valued his singers’ dedication and was honored by the choir for his long service.
