Fullerton youth tops 4-H speaking contest at UNL
LincolN Net Fullerton and Julie Hindmarsh of Fremont won the 4-H public speaking contest and earned $150 scholarships to the University of Nebraska College of Agriculture plus savings bonds. Leigh The Congregation of Zion Lutheran Church held a farewell for Mr and Mrs LeRoy Frey and family as they move toward Oklahoma this month. Ladean Korle presided as master of ceremonies. Grade school children under Miss Eunice Moti performed skits and gifts were presented by several local groups. Frey, born in Oklahoma, has been parochial school principal since 1968 and will continue teaching in Enid.
