Michael Dean Harless, 25, a former federal inmate from Englewood Colorado, was arrested in Omaha after a block long chase. He allegedly abducted a 13 year old girl from a Flandreau South Dakota dance, assaulted her several times, and demanded $1,000 for her return. The girl was found unharmed at a central Omaha apartment rented by Connie Marquardt, who was questioned but not charged. The FBI continues probing possible involvement of another person.
