Nebraska roads claim three lives in separate incidents as New Year’s Day toll rises. Michael Clyde, 19, of Superior, died in a rear collision near Hardy on Nebraska 8. Bennett Enge, 27, of David City, perished when his car on Nebraska 15 overturned into a stream after hitting a guardrail. Catherine Koza, 19, of Bruno, was rescued after 45 minutes pinned in the vehicle. Charles Lantry, 72, was killed in a hit and run in Omaha eight minutes after the period began.
