Linda Blair faces drug arrest in major UPI report
In Stamford Connecticut teenage star Linda Blair 18 faces fugitive from justice and possession charges after a nationwide drug sweep that yielded three million dollars in cocaine seizures in Texas and Florida. Labor leaders in Nebraska plan cooperation with farm strike
Lincoln Nebraska organized labor and American Agriculture leaders agreed to meet to discuss cooperation during the farm strike week. State AFL CIO president Senator Bill Brennan and Bertrand farmer Stan DeHoer said a long lasting relationship between family farmers and labor is possible. They noted a multi state meeting may occur and planned exchanges of speakers at labor and farm strike meetings.

The 1978 budget of 13.4 million dollars includes a 5.29 percent overall rate hike for services, radiology, and laboratory work.
