Schuyler Airport Authority Keeps Budget at 1.4 Mills
The Schuyler Airport Authority kept its budget at 1.4 mills after a July 29 budget hearing. No 2 mill levy increase was approved pending final airport layout plan decisions following a public hearing. The authority has used 1 mill from 1973 to 1974, raised to 1.4 mills in 1974 and 1975, with 75 percent federal, 10 percent state, and 15 percent local funding, the local share capped at 2 mills for airport operations. The next meeting is August 7 at 8 p.m. in the Cou Chambers at City Hall.
