Rebel forces overran two government outposts near Phnom Penh halting U S airlift to the capital. A guerrilla rocket hit Pochentong Airport wounding five cargo handlers while DCO jets resumed flights later. Reports say 30 rockets and 105mm shells struck over two and a half hours as government forces retreated across the Mekong and police posts were overrun.

In San Mateo California more than 2 000 students will act out the Battle of Lexington and Concord on April 18 with a one third scale re enactment. Larry Hyink says 2 201 students participate with 750 British troops and 250 referees as Minutemen practice loading and firing muskets.
