Meadow Vista Historian George Lay Keeps Local Memory Alive
George Lay lifelong Meadow Vista resident and local historian built a memory archive with a brownie camera, recording the town’s changing faces, shops, and daily life. From one room school stories to fire department service, he chronicled postwar growth, the Trading Post era, and the Post Office founding while guiding local historic societies and cherishing his grandchildren.
