Colfax Elementary trains peers in conflict mediation program
Colfax Elementary School held its annual Conflict Manager training for 22 students in grades 6 to 8 on Friday September 24 with teachers staff and community members present. Bob Noyes directed the full day seminar teaching team building active listening positive self talk and conflict resolution. He described breaking down egos to foster acceptance and cooperation and outlined three core agreements for conflict managers to use in any dispute. If agreement fails the session can be ended safely.
