Colfax JV Narrowly Falls 13-12 to Acalanes in Season Opener
Colfax High JV football dropped a 13-12 non league decision to Acalanes last Friday. A controversial 98 yard kickoff return for a Falcons score opened the scoring, but Colfax fought back with Nathan Broussard's 10 yard TD and a late 12 yard connection from Alex Rump to Brandon Chastain. The two point try failed, leaving Acalanes with the win as Colfax's defense steadied behind Wheat Fucci and Wooten.
