Colfax, June 2023 Pvt. Jonathan J. French, son of Tamara Clark and John French of Colfax, finished 12 weeks of basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. The program tested endurance and skills through drills, field and classroom work, culminating in The Crucible and his first address as a Marine. French, Class of 2003 at Colfax High, joins fellow recruits under Marine core values of honor courage and commitment.
