Placer County plans bold steps to ease transport woes
Celia McAdam leads the Placer County Transportation Planning Agency steering committee as it seeks creative funding to cover nearly 2 billion dollars in transportation upgrades over 20 years. The group, representing business, environmental and public interests, weighs taxes, fees, tolls and other options to avert Bay Area like gridlock while leveraging state and federal funds.
