Horses for Healing aids Meyer Zumwalt in Auburn program
Meyer Zumwalt, a Grass Valley boy with cerebral palsy, benefits from Horses for Healing in Auburn, a nonprofit offering therapeutic riding. The program, run at Stage Stop Ranch, needs funds to install electricity and buy a hoist as it serves 24 clients with 725 similar centers nationwide. A Casino Night fundraiser is set for October 23 at the Shiloh Center, with tickets $35 in advance or $45 at the door.
