NID gets $804,000 state grant for Scotts Flat upgrades
Nevada Irrigation District will receive an 804000 state grant for Cascade Shores day use area improvements at Scotts Flat Reservoir. The money, approved September 11 by the California Boating and Waterways Commission, funds a boat ramp boarding float parking upgrades new beach picnic area and restrooms to occur in fall 2004 as reservoir levels drop. A Cascade Shores community meeting will be held in late October to discuss plans with residents.
