Weekend I-80 crash kills two near Blue Canyon
Three separate weekend crashes on I-80 between Colfax and Blue Canyon stalled westbound traffic for over an hour. Diana Pehrson, 40, of Elk Grove, and Karen Allen, 39, of Fair Oaks, died in a two vehicle collision at 11:35 am. Kermit Allen, 67, of Fair Oaks, died in a separate motorcycle crash at 7:25 pm later Sunday.
