Recall Gov Davis Triumph in California Recall Vote
Placer County voters backed the recall of Governor Gray Davis with 80 788 votes 71.71 percent while Arnold Schwarzenegger captured 69 006 votes 62.65 percent from local ballots. Final statewide certification expected mid November with turnout around 75 percent. Colfax City Manager Bob Perrault warns of fiscal hurdles for the new governor to restore services while addressing a nine billion dollar deficit.

One Buck Weir Runs For California Governor

Vehicle Fire Near Colfax Elementary School
