A westbound Union Pacific freight train derailed between 4 and 5 p.m. on Wednesday August 13 in Weimar, with sixteen grain cars and two locomotives leaving debris and grain spills across tracks. Cleanup continues after Weimar derailment by Dobbas team
Dobbas Inc of Newcastle is Union Pacific's emergency contractor for the Weimar Crossroads derailment cleanup. Crews rerailed tracks and cleared debris from 12 corn car derailment, with work spanning Monday to Thursday.
