Puzzle People bring puzzle joy to Colfax store

Michael and Pat Smith, the Puzzle People, moved to 201 Railroad St Colfax near the Fruit Exchange. From starting with a map puzzle in 1972 to expanding to catalogs and 300 outlets, they now run a small Colfax shop offering tours for children and emphasizing recycling and craft, with their first Colfax customer July 23.

Manuel Rodriguez from Watsonville with 20 acres farming. Ilene Manville from Truckee offering bath balms soaps and dog shampoo. Mary Kravitz from Elk Grove selling French silk goat milk products with her son Randall seen spinning or knitting at the stand.
