The Clifton Junior High Cubs 7th grade team routed Meridian Junior High 34 to 6. C R Sinderud opened with a 60 yard TD run, Linderud added a 20 yard end run and another TD, and a third TD on a halfback try. EPs failed until Pierson kicked the third conversion. Curlee and Conrad also tallied as Clifton built a 20 nothing lead. the Cubs, now 9-0, host Glen Rose next, aiming for undefeated district title.

Fort Worth Woman Recovering After Houston Heart Surgery
Mrs. Billy Smith of Fort Worth, granddaughter of Mrs. Jim McMillan, is recovering in Methodist Hospital Houston after heart surgery last Friday. She is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Kimbrough.
