Cubs Clinch Tight Finish Against Troy
Stewart, back in the game, attempted a keeper late in the run but fumbled into the end zone where a Troy lad recovered for a touchback. After the ball moved to the 20, about 25 seconds remained as Troy attempted a late air drive, fumbled, and David Smith recovered. Stewart again fell on the ball twice as Troy burned time outs with no chance to regain possession.
