Threshermen and threshing days in Turnersville tale
James Sharp narrates his three part memoir in The Iron Man Album Magazine about a Turnersville Texas threshing era. He recalls starting at age 15 with his uncle Murray Sharp and crew, drought of 1925, lush crops of 1926, and finally independent runs to 1954. He honors machinist Alfred Canuteson and lists fellow crew members who kept the rigs operating.
