Miss Mary Linda Hix daughter of Mr and Mrs Omar L Hix now of Mercedes and formerly of Clifton has been notified of acceptance to the University of Texas Training Institute at Austin for the 1965 66 academic year. She taught mathematics in Corpus Christi and holds a BA from Texas Lutheran College. She will begin June 8 and plans to complete in June 1966 for Master of Education and Counselor's Certificate.
