Family mourns as Cranfill funeral rites held in Big Spring
Mrs Alex Anderson and her sister Mrs Otis Cranfill traveled from Clifton to Big Spring after the death of E D Cranfill of Denver City. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Ric Spring with interment. Mrs Cranfill stayed in Big Spring for her ill husband while Mrs Anderson returned home Monday.

CHS Senior Plays Attracted Large Week End Audiences
CHS presented two act productions Vier Hearts Were Young and Willow Tath to crowds on Monday and Saturday last week. Cast lists include Susan Witcher, John Wie tine, Peggy Autry, Kay Kinchelee, Dennis Zuetken, and Cindy Harris with direction by Lottie Sopher. Performances benefited from drama club support and staged by The Dramatic Publishing Company at Chicago.

The group planned support for local veterans and approved buying paperback Westerns or puzzles to send $5 in stamps. Mayor Charles M Isenhower said Clifton City Council voted Monday night to make the alley between the Post Office and City Hall a one way street going north. Clifton Public Schools plan bus departures around 11 45 A M to collect rural students on the last day of the 1964 65 year. Mr and Mrs Tom Hicks announced this week they purchased the Dublin Progress a weekly paper in Dublin Erath County. Their son Tommy and daughter in law Linda will operate the newspaper and are parents of three children Tommy Angela and Buster.
