The Clifton Volunteer Fire Department responded to two incidents this week. A Friday 1 PM antenna collapse at the Perry Col wick house on North Avenue F caused a ground scorch after wires burned. crews cut the lines. Monday 7 PM a grass fire along Highway 6 right of way south of Clifton drew a response while crews were burning grass behind Miss Elsie Coston's home.
