Miss Sue Snider 77 of 501 South Avenue F Clifton died at 12 10 pm Wednesday March 16 in Clifton hospital after two weeks of critical illness. Funeral services were set for 2 00 pm Thursday March 17 at Clifton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev John Ed Withers of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Valley Mills Cemetery.

Clif-Tex Installs New Oven to Produce Wrinkle Free Coveralls
Victor Conrad, vice president and general manager, says a 20 by 30 foot oven at Clif-Tex Manufacturing in Clifton has operated for two weeks to bake permanent presses into coveralls. About 60 dozen garments daily pass through the oven, in batches of two dozen, then ship ready. The firm plans ongoing expansion with a larger operation and a new warehouse being built by Walls Manufacturing at Cleburne to support Clifton and Cleburne plants.
