Clyde Outlaws Host Housewarming Event
On Wednesday night June 3 from 7 30 to 9 30 the Clyde Outlaw family held a housewarming in their newly remodeled home at 1303 West 9th Street. Mrs Leon Prescher greeted guests, with Randy Outlaw and Kay Kincheloe inviting arrivals to register. The refreshments featured orange and gold flowers, fruit punch cookies mints and nuts. Guests toured the home and admired gifts while Mesdames Prescher Ira Callan Jack R Hill Curtis Johnson Ray New Edwin A Sinderud and Charles Westley served as house party hosts.

Bosque County 4-H members accompanied by the County Home Demonstration Agent and the County Agricultural Agent attended the 4H Roundup at Texas A&M University. Carla Simmons and Karen Knudson demonstrated cooperatives with 17 other teams and each received 7.50 dollars and a medal. Joyce Blackman was first alternate for the State Favorite Foods Show. The Bosque Rifle team, including Bettye Viertel, did not place in the top three but gained experience. Socials noted June 12 at Shore Acres. District Dress Revue on June 18 at Tarleton College featured Bettye Viertel and Susan Jones as seniors and Joyce Blackman as host. CHDA discussed countywide goals at Black Angus in Walnut Springs. The Bosque Home Demonstration Council planned summer meetings, selecting delegates for the State meeting in Houston on September 16–18. Mr. and Mrs. Magnus F. Hyles of San Diego visited Clifton. they planned trips to Green Bay and San Diego before returning.

Biennial Coyote Homecoming Draws Out-of-Town Guests
A biennial homecoming was held at Coyote Methodist Church on Sunday June 14 with church services led by Reverend Dale E Yant and a picnic under live oaks. Visitors listed include Parker Sears Albany T A Sears Brownwood Fannette Sears Wolley Fairbanks Alaska and many others from Texas and beyond. Organizers hope more former residents will return for the 60th anniversary and next biennial in June 1966 alongside church celebrations.

Miss Karin Bass and Lieutenant Thomas Duane Childs wed at First Methodist Church in Meridian officiated by Reverends Davenport and Johnson. The ceremony featured gladioli decor and organ music, with bridesmaids in blue satin and a reception in the Educational Building. After a trip to Indiana the couple will reside in Sacramento at Mather Air Force Base.
