Funeral services for Robert L. Sims 69 of Clifton were conducted Tuesday at the Clifton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wes ley Jones officiating. Burial followed at Clifton Memorial Cemetery. Sims born October 4 1899 in Dallas County married Maude Langley in 1934 and lived in Midlothian before moving near Lake Whitney then to Clifton in June to enjoy retirement with his wife.
Retired farmer Mr. Sims died at 2 50 a.m. Monday June 30 1969 in Clifton Hospital. Surviving his wife of Clifton and three Dallas sisters are listed as Mrs. Ethel Shaffer Mrs. Edna Campbell and Mrs. Natalie Wade with two nieces and other relatives.
Rev. Billy Ray Smith leads services at 711 N Ave G Clifton Texas with weekly events including Ladies Prayer Meeting Monday, Bible Study Wednesday, Young People Service and Children's Church Friday, and regular Sunday program plus an evening service.
