Nelsons Visit Congregations and Rededication in Iowa
The Nelsons traveled from Clifton visiting Mrs. Erickson in Minneapolis and attended ALC and LCA meetings in Waverly Iowa. They preached in Waverly and later worshipped at First Lutheran in Cedar Rapids where they once served. They attended rededication of a repaired Lutheran church in Decorah led by Dr. David Prues. An incident near Des Moines involved a roadside visit with friends the Weeks Thompson. Other local notices mention Milton Brown relatives visiting, trips by Roy Willis family to Anchorage and Laguna Park, and the Schulze reunion at Trinity Lutheran. Bobby C. Jackson was found dead in a St. Louis motel room.
