Funeral services for Carl F Dittrich aged 52 were conducted at 2 p m on Thursday January 12 in the Clifton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev A M Stone officiating. Interment followed at Boggy Cemetery. Relatives express their loss.
Mr and Mrs P B Holt of Clifton returned Saturday January 14 after a week in Decorah Iowa. They visited Dr and Mrs Dennis Jones and children Timothy Richard and Rosemary. Mr Holt attended a turkey convention in Omaha Nebraska. On the way home they visited Dallas with their son and daughter in law Mr and Mrs Richard Holt and children Barbara and Jennifer.
County Superintendent Tom Heartsill and Bosque County superintendents attended the School Administrators Advisory Conference on Education in Austin where Dr. J. W. Edgar presided and spoke on a plan for Education Service Centers. The group also attended Region XII meetings in Waco on January 16 at North Junior High School and heard a preliminary state plan approval by the State Board of Education on January 7.
